Studio Brief 9: Leeds Gin Festival: Final Designs and Evaluation

After producing a menus, a receipt, business cards and flyers, we organised a photoshoot to display them in a similar style to our advertisement photography, surrounding the design work with a selection of botanicals. We were able to use the same photographer giving up high quality photos once again.









 As well as this, we were able to produce some advertisement mock-ups using the photos from the previous photoshoot. We followed a similar minimal aesthetic using our yellow colour scheme and icons.

Evaluation

The final outcomes were very successful. I enjoyed working with a photographer and professionally taken product photography. Although I believe our brand could do with some more adjustments and more substance, the general aesthetic meets the hit end tone of voice we were aiming for. Joe and I worked very well together again, enabling us to complete this brief quickly and efficiently. As we have worked together before on three other briefs we are aware of how each other work and how to talk and suggest ideas to each other. Although we have diferent aesthetics, we have a similar mentality to how something should work and function. We were both very organised, using google drive, and Imessanger to organise ourselves and discuss anything.
