Cielo Blanco is a mexican restaurant that makes its audience very aware of its brand identity through colourful patterns. The menus are metal sheets which printed onto and bound with thick metal hoops. The design wears away over time as seen below and gives it a very rustic style that keeps in tone with the brands identity. The experience of using these menus is like no other restaurant and engages the audience to the point where they help wear away the design themselves.
The drawback to this worn style is that important information could easily be worn away. They have fixed this issue by using thick card for the actual contents of the menu.
After the meal, the bill is accompanied by a small blue envelope which is the same colour as the logo.
The contents are 2 business card sized cards which act as promotional material. They keep the brand identity consistent with the use of rough textures and mexican styled illustrations. This promotional material is something that I would like to mimic as it acts as a great way to have returning customers.
