The song gives off connotations of moving and travelling. The lead singer even explains how the song is partially about how he wanted to leave manchester. I also took inspiration from the western themes of the song and music video and got connotations of western films and the modes of transport used in those films. I decided to paint a train with the perspective that it shows it travelling away from the horizon.
Although the design has the travelling vibe that i was going for, the actual style of the painting doesn't seem to fit as a record sleeve.
