The interim crit today was very useful. I received a lot of feedback; some which I expected and some which will help me improve my designs.
Feedback showed that the bass guitar design and hole design were most popular and caught the eye of the audience.
Feedback for this design showed:
-It hurt some viewers eyes if they looked at it too long
-It is interesting to look at and catches the attention of viewers
-Possibly experiment with colours to see if it has more impact
-Experiment with putting a boarder around the circle
-Maybe reduce the amount of lines or line weight
-It has a sense of melancholy
-It has a lot of impact
-Experiment with colours and textures to see if it could be made more 3 dimensional
-Possible trace by had to see if it could be made more human/personal
-Not sure if it sums up the whole theme of the song
-Very striking and eye catching
-Possibly reduce thickness of line around glass
-The point of the grasshopper isn't clear but grabs the attention of the audience
-The theme of this design is clearest and is easily relatable to the lyrics.
