Responsive: Brooklyn Menu Development

Initial designs for the menus began by deducing that they should be focused generally around the theme of the bar, 'America'. More specifically 'Brooklyn'. The most obvious, but also most effective solution would be the use of blue, red and white; a colour scheme that has a direct link the the american flag. The colours may need to be darkened and used in a particular way to not have the menus look colour schemed from the British flag.

A tall sans-serif font also communicates an urban America. Mohave fits perfectly with this theme. Initial designs were 2 simple, double sided, portrait card menus with 15cmx31.5cm.

The colour scheme would change between menus to help easily differentiate the two, but still closely link them together as a set.
The dimensions for this design are too large, but some of the design choices are effective. I plan to adapt these menus to a diferent scale and possibly format. They could be improved if adapted into a booklet or leaflet format as they are more appropriate for substantial amounts of information. The designs have a limited amount of information on them as they would easily be cluttered with more.
