Studio Brief 4: Design Development

My leaflet design has developed with assistance of the logo design and colour scheme. Below are a few screenshots of the leaflets pages so far. The layout is heavily inspired by the layout of the ticket. I made the logo the same size to keep a consistent style throughout. I chose to use 'american typewriter' as a the body txt font as it relates back to the work for Sailor Jerry who used similar styled type to signature his work.

To make it print correctly I set the document up as seen below:
When fully folded out the leaflet will have this poster on the other side:
Below are some photos other the designs printed out. I used a perforator to puncture the ticket where it would need to rip. I need to experiment with stock and materials more as the materials I used were not appropriate.
I used cartridge paper for my leaflet and soon found out that I needed to use a diferent stock. The colour printed quite badly on the paper and the design lost colour where it was folded. I plan to use a stock suggested by my flatmate called 'zerkall' although I am not sure if it possible to print onto it digitally.
The faded QR code challenge came from an tattooist job application I saw that needed the applicant to fill in a QR code carefully to get the phone number of the employer. I thought the idea was very original and appropriate, although I worry that I've stolen the idea too much.
