As research into how I want my leaflet to be I looked at other leaflets to see the way that they fold. Probably the way that I will choose is this first leaflet that is made up of an A3 piece of paper and folded in half, and then into thirds. 21cm x 10cm is a very common dimension for informative leaflets. It s also a great way to allow for a fold outable A3 poster.
This second leaflet is a concertina leaflet that is the same 21x10cm when folded up, but only 21x40cm when folded out, which is less that half the size of the previous one. This styled leaflet is also good for information as it allows for 4 pages to be seen together at one time.
This is a booklet I found. It is heavily informative, although I don't want to bombard my audience with too much information. My target audience is quite young and wouldn't want to read too much.Below is an A5 leaflet that folds out into thirds. Personally I wouldn't choose this for my festival as it is quite impractical to bring around with you. It would have to be folded or bent to be fit into a pocket, whereas others would fit easily. The folded out 44x21cm dimension would be interesting to work with as a poster, although it is very unconventional to find these sorts of leaflets at festivals
